Shad (Shadrach Kabango) is Rwandan-Canadian rapper with 7 full-length albums since his debut in 2005. He won the Juno Award for Rap Recording Of The Year in 2011 and 5 of his albums have been shortlisted for the prestigious Polaris Music Prize for Canadian Album Of The Year. As a presenter, Shad has hosted the CBC radio show Q and is the host of Netflix’s Peabody Award-winning documentary series Hip-Hop Evolution.
